Environmental Composition & Sonic Observation

Interval State is an ongoing artistic practice exploring the relationship between sound, place, memory, and the passage of time.

Through environmental compositions and unedited Field Notes, the project investigates how subtle changes in atmosphere shape perception and how repeated listening transforms sound into landscape.

An Invitation

You do not need any musical background to experience Interval State.

The project begins with a simple idea: that listening can change the way we experience the world around us.

Some compositions may remind you of a place you’ve been. Others may suggest somewhere you’ve never visited. Some may simply encourage you to slow down and notice what was already there.

There is no correct interpretation.

Every work is an invitation to form your own relationship with the experience.
